recovery is a process. scar tissue forms. we function. we move on. we try to forget. we ignore the pain. we develop a limp. and we keep walking.

but twisting fate can expose injuries that never quite healed.

and the examination required to diagnose the cumulative damages is never comfortable or easy. it takes time.

so the question is... what should we do with ourselves while we wait?
